Flexible coin processing
Calibration details can be stored for up to 32 denominations which can be sorted at up to 4000 coins a minute. the system is very flexible permitting a wide range of sorting options. There are eight bag holds and a reject tray. A light above each outlet indicates when a bag is full. An animated representation of the bag shows the level of coins in each one.
With the Active Sorting® technology, the machine can run continuously even when a bag is full. Coins are simply re-circulated until a bag outlet is available. By using the bag switching facility, the user can designate more than one bag to a coin and when one becomes full, coins are automatically diverted in the next bag so that the first can be emptied without disrupting the sorting process, leading to increased productivity.
Despite the level of capability and wide range of user options, the SC4000 can be operated with a minimum of training.
The sophisticated software used to control the machine offer a high level of flexibility and enables the SC4000 to be configured to meet the customer's particular requirements. This means that the monitor only displays the functions required. No irrelevant screens to confuse operators, no unnecessary operations to complete the count.

- Transactions can be specified to include notes (by denominations), plastic tokens, cheques and credit cards. This information is held in memory with the coin breakdown when the count is cleared

Options include: 40 column printer with 3.5 " floppy drive, three serial ports and one parallel port.
